This communications media toolkit covers topics such as communities, the economy, education and the Welsh language, the environment, and health and social services.

  • Communities: Helping people to live in safer and more cohesive communities, with lower levels of poverty and greater equality. Safeguarding and supporting vulnerable people.
  • Economy: Providing support for businesses to help grow the Welsh economy, developing science in Wales, and promoting good working relationships between the four nations and internationally. Raising the international profile and influence of Wales, developing and strengthening the national tourism industry, and promoting major events.
  • Education and Welsh language: Helping to achieve high standards and aspirations for all, tackling the impact of poverty on attainment and ambition. All learners, whatever their background, supported to be healthy, engaged, enterprising, and ethical citizens, ready to play a full part in life and work. Cymraeg belongs to us all and we want to help encourage everyday use by everyone whatever their ability.
  • Environment: Helping create a Net Zero Wales by 2050; ensuring people have high-quality, warm, secure, and energy-efficient homes to live in. Developing a future sustainable farming scheme. Supporting the food and marine sectors, and delivering 21st-century infrastructure that will move us towards a low-carbon transport system.
  • Health and social services: Promoting, protecting, and improving the health and well-being of everyone in Wales, and leading efforts to reduce inequalities in health. Ensuring high-quality social services are available and increasingly joined up with health care and other services.
